Packers announce key camp dates!

Packers announce date for Family Night

The Packers have announced that Family Night will take place on Saturday Aug. 2nd. The evening will serve as the introduction of the 2025 Green Bay Packers, in person to a capacity crowd in Lambeau Field and on television to a state-wide audience. (No word yet on whether or not the event will be livestreamed as it was last summer.)

Packers Training Camp kicks off the week before Family Night, with the first practice scheduled for Wednesday, July 23rd. The full training camp schedule and the date of the Annual Meeting of shareholders will be announced soon.

Doors for Family Night will open at 5:30 p.m., with the team taking the field for warmups at 7 p.m. and practice beginning at 7:30. Tickets will go on sale Monday, June 16th, at 10 a.m. ct. Tickets again are mobile only and priced at $10 plus fees, available for purchase solely online through Ticketmaster. There will be a limit of 10 tickets per purchase during the first day of ticket sales. All individuals, regardless of age, require a ticket for admittance.

Resale is prohibited. In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities – from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show – are canceled.

Reacting to Day One of 2025 Packers OTAs

CHTV co-founder Aaron Nagler is joined by Justis Mosqueda of ACME Packing Company to discuss all the reports and updates coming out of the Green Bay Packers first OTA practice available to the media.

Which Young Packers Have Highest Upside at Each Position?

The Packers have built a strong core roster in recent years, mostly through good drafting and successful development. While some of the players from the post-Aaron-Rodgers Packers have now become fully fledged veterans, looking to receive their second contracts in the league, there are still plenty of young players trying to fulfill their potential.

Among players who have played two years or fewer in the NFL, here are the players we believe to have the highest upside at each position.

Packers offer Jaire Alexander a restructured contract

Aaron Nagler is joined by Green Bay Packers beat writer Matt Schneidman to discuss his latest piece for The Athletic and his report that the team has offered cornerback Jaire Alexander a restructured contract.

Offensive Line Questions Heading into OTA's

For the Green Bay Packers, one of the most intriguing position groups heading into the first Organized Team Activities (and training camp) will be the offensive line. There are numerous questions for the Packers coaching staff for the offensive line this offseason.

Question 1: How will the line adjust to Elgton Jenkins moving from left guard to center? A mainstay since his rookie year, Elgton Jenkins will be making a position change in 2025. The former 2nd round draft pick in 2019, Jenkins has primarily started at left guard in his six seasons with the franchise. He has also started games at left tackle, center and right tackle. In both 2020 and 2022, Jenkins earned Pro Bowl honors for his play at left guard. However, he entered the NFL as a former center at Mississippi State. The Packers view Jenkins as a possible pro bowl-level center. Currently there is concern about Jenkins and his contract situation. He currently is hoping to renegotiate his contract that was extended in 2022.

NFC North Over/Under Predictions

After having arguably one of the most successful regular seasons as a whole for the NFC North, it is considered that the 2025 season will be a tough campaign based on each team’s respective schedules. The Packers, Lions, Vikings, and Bears all face top-10 strength of schedule rankings. Last season, three out of four teams hit the over based on their win projections (Lions, Packers, Vikings) with the lone Bears hitting the under after losing 10 consecutive games.

Granted, it was a much easier schedule last year. Are the Bears going to claim the crown as the “offseason champs” again just to have an underwhelming season? Will the Vikings have another lucky season of winning majority of one possession games? Can the Packers rise to the occasion and win games that matter most? Will the Lions win their third consecutive NFC North crown for the first time in franchise history? In chronological order of highest win projection, time to play the over/under prediction game for the 2025 season, NFC North edition.

Which Packers Defensive Linemen Will Step Up This Season?

The Green Bay Packers did not address the defensive line position until the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. That means that the team is counting primarily on improvement from within to improve the pass rush from the front four in Jeff Hafley’s defense. The Packers are hoping that several of their defensive linemen will step up and improve their play in 2025 as they enter year two of the new 4-3 base defense Hafley installed last year.

The Packers are hoping for improved pressure from their front four in 2025. If even some of these players step up and play better this season, they may very well get it.

Can You Still Love Them? Or Do You Have to Hate Them?

As Green Bay Packers fans, we are very accustomed to seeing our favorite players put on a different uniform once their time in green and gold is over. Rarely in the Packers' history have these great players ended their careers with the Packers. We loved them for so many years as their play made us cheer, but how's a fan supposed to feel once they leave Green Bay and head to another team?

You can feel a little betrayed as a fan in these situations, and that's okay. Especially when you have to endure watching a player that was once a favorite of yours start babbling on about how their new team has the best fans and how that city has the best amenities. We're looking at you, AJ Dillon, choosing Wawa over Kwik Trip. You were given the keys to a Wisconsin County, and you pull this? For shame!

Of course, there is that dreaded caveat. When that player goes to a division rival. Suddenly, all bets are off. They now play for a team that the Packers have to face twice a year, and their success can be counterintuitive to the Packers' success. You might like that player as a human being, but when it comes to game time, you can't help but want them to fail. They went to that rival; that was their choice, and now we don't want them to be successful at all. Of course, we've seen this a few times lately, primarily with Brett Favre, Greg Jennings, Za'Darius Smith, and Aaron Jones going to Minnesota. Three out of those four admitted to wanting to play for the Vikings to get back at the Packers. When that's the case, as a fan, it is perfectly acceptable for there to be a bit of bad blood come game day.

When it all comes down to it, though, there's no reason to gatekeep. Fan how you want to fan. It may be hard for some of us to cheer on a former fan favorite in a new uniform, but if it's easy for you, do it. As long as it doesn't interfere with your fandom of the Green Bay Packers, of course!
