The Packers are headed to Brazil!

The Packers will open the season against the Eagles...in Brazil!

The Packers will open the 2024 season against the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 for the NFL’s first regular season game in Brazil!

This will also mark the first time the NFL has played a game on Friday night of their opening weekend in over 50 years. The game will take place in the city of São Paulo at the Corinthians Arena, home to Brazilian soccer team SC Corinthians.

"This landmark first international game in South America demonstrates the ongoing expansion of our global footprint," NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said. "Playing on Friday night of Week 1 is a unique way to highlight our international growth and ambitions."

Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy stated “We’re looking forward to being a part of this historic matchup against the Eagles in São Paulo. We’re excited to play in front of our devoted fans in Brazil and help build upon the international popularity of the NFL and the Packers. We had a great experience playing internationally for the first time a couple of years ago and we’re proud to be part of the league’s continued global growth.”

While this is an Eagles “home game” you can bet that Packers fans will be taking over Corinthians Arena on September 6th.
