Packers Lose Another Coordinator!

Rich Bisaccia Steps Down as Packers Special Teams Coordinator, Assistant Head Coach
Rich Bisaccia has unexpectedly stepped down as special teams coordinator and assistant head coach of the Green Bay Packers. The reasons weren’t immediately clear.
"While we are disappointed to lose a person and coach as valuable as Rich, we respect his decision to step down from the Packers," Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur said, via Packers.com, in making the announcement.
By most accounts, Bisaccia was beloved by players and staff alike. Bisaccia, who was the highest-paid special teams coordinator in the NFL, came to Green Bay from the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 with high hopes of turning around an underperforming Packers special teams unit. It didn’t exactly work out…
Packers Free Agency Preview w/ Justis Mosqueda | Tough Calls Ahead
The offseason decisions are coming fast for the Green Bay Packers — and some tough calls are on the table.
Aaron Nagler is joined by Justis Mosqueda of Acme Packing Company to break down the Packers’ pending free agents and what Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur could do next.
Get to Know the Packers New Quarterbacks Coach (Again): Luke Getsy
It's familiar, safe, and honestly, a little boring, but the Packers have their new quarterbacks coach. According to Tom Pelissero, the Packers are naming Luke Getsy as their new quarterbacks coach. Getsy previously held the position from 2019 to 2021. After brief stints elsewhere, Getsy was with the Packers last season as a senior offensive assistant.
Luke Getsy is only 41 years old, but he has nearly 20 years of coaching experience. He has coached at both the college and NFL ranks, but almost half of his coaching career has happened in Green Bay. Getsy is currently in the midst of his third separate stint with the Packers’ organization. He was first hired by Mike McCarthy back in 2014. He was then hired again by Matt LaFleur in 2019 and 2024.
It’s been a busy offseason for LaFleur, with him having to assemble quite a few pieces for his coaching staff in 2026. It’s finally taking shape. The Packers were left searching for a new quarterbacks coach after Sean Mannion was hired to be the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles. Matt LaFleur could’ve looked externally to fill the position, but he ultimately went with a familiar face...

Grading the 2025 Packers Roster with Ryan Wood
CHTV co-founder Aaron Nagler is joined by Ryan Wood of PackersNews.com to hand out end-of-season roster grades
The guys zoom out and grade the overall roster: where it’s championship-caliber, where it’s solid, and where it could quietly derail a playoff run. If you care about roster construction, depth battles, and how the smallest details can swing a season, this is the conversation you don’t want to miss.
Packers Have a WR Succession Plan
When Brian Gutekunst drafted Golden in the first round last April he planned ahead for when Watson, Doubs, Reed and Wicks would all be off their rookie deals by the 2027 offseason. Gutekunst could try to package Reed or Wicks in a trade and prioritizing keeping his quarterback’s favorite target, and also ensuring Golden sees the field much more often than he did last season.
Moving on with Golden in the top 3 wide receivers with Watson and Reed and letting Doubs leave in free agency seems like much more of a “Packer Way” of handling the wide receiver position this offseason.
Age is a Myth: Packers Missing Vet Presence
Being young is a good thing, make no mistake about it. With time you begin to take on more responsibility, worrying becomes more common, and you may not possess the energy you once did. One commonality with age that may override all of that, is wisdom. Time brings knowledge, and more experience than others in a similar field. The now two-time youngest team by age in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers might benefit from a veteran presence.
With so many young & talented players in the franchise, Green Bay certainly does not lack the ability to have players lead by example. However, since the franchise shift from 2022 to 2023 electing to move forward with a youthful look, where has the leading voice come from?
Mock Draft Monday: Packers Trade-Up Strategy Before Free Agency
Are the Green Bay Packers positioned to steal elite value late in the draft — or should Brian Gutekunst be aggressive and trade up before free agency reshapes the board?
In this episode of Mock Draft Monday, CHTV NFL Draft Analyst Newt Westen explores a scenario where the Packers land massive value on Day 3, including:
~ A running back who fits Matt LaFleur’s offense perfectly
~ A downhill, run-thumping linebacker who raises the floor of the room instantly
~ A disruptive defensive lineman who somehow falls way below his board value
~ A return specialist with upside to add juice on special teams
Getting top-10 positional talent at picks 236 and 254? That’s draft board chaos — and we’ll take it.
But the bigger question: Should the Packers trade up before free agency changes everything?

Cory's Corner: Does Lambeau Still Have Its Mystique?
There are stadiums in the NFL, and then there is Lambeau Field.
You can see the grill smoke as you drive closer to the stadium with the huge G on the backside of the south side scoreboard.
It does not shimmer. It does not intimidate with futuristic architecture or luxury gloss. It sits in a neighborhood, wrapped in parking-lot tailgates and generations of ritual. It is cold steel and frozen breath and stories passed from grandparents to grandchildren. It is a memory as much as a venue.
I can still remember shivering on a bitterly cold December day as I witnessed the birth of the Lambeau Leap way back in 1993. That touchdown celebration staple has been muted in recent seasons for some reason.
And that is what makes the question uncomfortable.
Does it still matter?
